The Southern California Committee for a Parliament of the World Religions (SCCPWR) serves as the Los Angeles area chapter of the larger Council for the Parliament of the World’s Religions, which has it’s headquarters in Chicago, USA.



Whereas the International organization works to create a  major world interfaith parliament every five years, SCCPWR works at the local level, organizing events and dialogues in Los Angeles and the greater Southern California area to further the interfaith movement.



Our organization (SCCPWR) is open to individual members, founded upon a common commitment to promote dialogue about the varieties of sacred experience in order to foster understanding, mutual respect, and cooperation.
